Two young enslaved brothers make a daring escape from a South Carolina plantation. With the help of many good people, they make their way north on a danger-filled flight to freedom to join their freed father in Pennsylvania. The play brings new levels of perception of the people who lived in those anguished times…and indeed to those who live in ours. Based on the novel by Jane Kristof. Recommended age: 9+
